To revive this disappearing city's vitality, we launched an AR-based local experiment with Cheongpung, a cooperative building local communities.

Cheongpung runs a 'relational population' program helping non-residents develop regional attachment and visit continuously.

But 'relational population' is inherently abstract, making regional changes hard to quantify.

청풍은 강화도에 살지 않는 사람들도 지역에 애착을 느끼고

지속적으로 방문하게 만드는 ‘관계 인구’를 확장하는

다양한 프로그램을 운영하고 있었어요.

하지만 관계 인구라는 개념은 추상적이고 측정이 어려워,

지역에 어떤 변화가 일어나고 있는지 정량적으로 확인하기 힘들었습니다.

We wanted AR to make regional exploration fun and naturally facilitate conversations with locals.

We designed an experience where you explore Ganghwa Island's locations and complete missions with Sunmu, the island's guide.

Following Sunmu, you'll fall into Ganghwa Island's charm before you know it.

우리는 AR이 지역을 탐험하게 만드는 재미있는 동기가 되고,

지역 사람들과 자연스럽게 대화를 나누는

소통의 매개가 되길 바랐어요.

그래서 섬의 안내자 ‘순무’와 함께

강화도의 다양한 장소를 탐험하고,

곳곳의 미션을 해결하는 경험을 만들었어요.
